JOHNSON, Judge. Appellant was indicted by the Grand Jury of Madison County for the offense of manslaughter in the first degree. Upon a plea
of not guilty, appellant was tried by a jury and found guilty as charged. His sentence was fixed at imprisonment in the State
penitentiary for a period of one year and one day. Following the overruling of a motion for a new trial, appellant makes this
appeal.
